Just some warnings!
My name, TARI, is not from SMG4, it is a nickname I made in 2013. Please do not ask me about it!
I like various genre of media, and I often post/talk about them on Discord or Twitter. So please treat different people with respect, and without any stereotypes. I will not accept any non-logical, raw criticism.
I am a native Korean who has never left Asia, so I don't know most of what it's like to live in other countries, like what is common sense in the west and such. I also don't know a lot of phrases and metaphors in English, so please let me know if I ask you!
I very much dislike Orientalism(Viewing Asia as one culture or having stereotypes, such as general racism, bias towards/fantasizing about a country just from their media and subculture), and I often see these combined with so called 'weeaboo', K-pop fandom or People supporting/glorifying Chinese communist party. So, please refrain from such behavior when you are talking about these topics! (I do not mean these are my DNI or something, I like Japanese subculture myself too. Just be careful not to bring it to justify something in a serious conversation about Asia)
In the same context, I don't like to see google translated Korean sentences just for fun. I often see awkward google translated sentences simply because I used my language or revealed my nationality. It is immature and lacks respect for the native speakers, as it is treating the language only as a sort of amusement. Native speakers can understand it, but it is not fun seeing awkward google translated sentences for them at all. It is especially often very awkward when translated into East Asian languages, as it is not related to English or any other western languages at all, unlike European languages(Same reason why Asians struggle with learning English a lot). Please treat different cultures with respect. This also includes typing random letters/phrases of a different language to represent a cryptic message, be it Arabic, Chinese or Korean.
